Freelance Director-Facilitator(s)
We are looking for imaginative and collaborative Director-Facilitators based in West Sussex to assist and lead a new weekly drama youth theatre programme in Crawley, as well as ad hoc sessions in schools and youth settings.
ROLE 1: Youth Theatre Freelance Director-Facilitator
When: Autumn 2026 to Summer 2027 weekly every Thursday
Time: 15:30 - 18:00
Where: County Mall, Crawley
Rates of Pay: £100 per session
Responsible to: Artistic Director
The new youth theatre programme will create a space for young people aged 14+ to meet, develop their creativity and make theatre together.
The Director-Facilitator(s) will initially assist Theatre Centre’s Artistic Director, Eleanor, in Autumn 2026 to build up the group and assist with the planned activity before taking over and leading the sessions in Spring 2027.
ROLE 2: Ad Hoc Freelance Facilitator(s)
When: Ad-Hoc Sessions
Where: TBC
Rates of Pay: £130 Half Day / £200 Full Day
Responsible to: Artistic Director
As a Theatre Centre Director-Facilitator you will:
Live in or around West Sussex with ease of access to Crawley
Have experience leading theatre workshops / drama projects with young people aged 14+ (for the youth theatre, but you may work with younger ages for other sessions)
