Company Stage(Freelance)

Theatre Centre, Sheffield Theatres and National Youth Theatre are looking for a freelance Company Stage Manager to work on our co-production of My Brother’s a Genius by Debris Stevenson. We will be touring this world premiere in schools and theatres across the UK in Spring 2026.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Company Stage Manager to look after the touring company and work with the Production Manager to ensure the smooth running of both rehearsals and touring production. 

DATES AND LOCATIONS

Pre-production: Autumn 2025

Rehearsals: 5 – 27 January 2026

Tour: 28 January – 28 March 2026

Rehearsals:

  • Week commencing Monday 5 January 2026 – Rehearsals (Sheffield);

  • Week commencing Monday 12 January 2026 – Rehearsals (Sheffield);

  • Week commencing Monday 19 January 2026 – Rehearsals (Sheffield);

  • Week commencing Monday 26 January 2026 – Rehearsals and previews (Sheffield);

  • Opens at Sheffield Theatres on 28 January 2026 touring UK schools and venues from February 2026.

FEE

£681 per week plus travel, accommodation and meal allowances.
