Age Advice: 5 - 8
Wheels was a play written for Theatre Centre by David Johnston in 1981. It toured for audiences of 5 to 8 year olds.
“I hate being blind” said Lesley. “Before I was blind, I was a runner, schools champion, the best; now look at me – I can hardly move!”. But Karen, her friend in the wheelchair, can and so the journey begins. The wheels are turning as the two girls set off to find “the man who helps blind people”. Is he a mad professor or a miracle worker?
