The Struggle

by Brian Way

1973 - 1974

Age Advice: A play for all ages in secondary schools

The Struggle was first produced by Theatre Centre in 1973. It was written and directed by the author and toured throughout the British Isles for a year.

A young man suddenly decides to opt out from “the daily round” of a dull, boring and largely mechanical life. The result is an adventure that calls on the best and deepest in him as an individual, as he attempts to overcome the ruthlessness of many attractive temptations.
