Age Advice: 9 - 13
Angels over Islington is a play written for Theatre Centre by David Holman. The play was written in 1980 and toured to schools for audiences aged 9 to 13.
When Angel William watches Angel Rocky and Angel Cynthia prepare for their annual christmas visit to earth, he tries his best to convince them to let him come along. Much to his dismay, they make it clear that there’s no chance he’ll ever be able to do their Guardian Angel duties. William, overflowing with anger and frustration, sneaks off to Earth to try and get the dangerous jobs done before them. Will his record of making a mess of things follow him, or will he finally be able to prove himself?
