Our Team

Zia Ahmed [ he / him ] is a writer from north-west london. He is a former roundhouse slam champion + in 2019 zia’s stage debut 'i wanna be yours' premiered at the bush. He is a recipient of the royal court theatre jerwood new playwrights programme 2021.  Zia has collaborated with common/wealth theatre working as a writer on the shows 'public interest' and 'peaceophobia' which won best stage production 2022 at the asian media awards. In 2023 he co-created the show 'brassic fm' with stef o'driscoll at the gate theatre.
