The Littlest Quirky
by Naomi Cortes
Age advice: 4+
"It is fascinating to see the young audience become more deeply involved. They were guiding them en masse with shouts and pointing fingers that showed how fully they had become engaged."
Howard Loxton, British Theatre Guide
"It’s unusual to see something that has both scale and substance. The children were enthralled the whole way through-fab."
The Littlest Quirky is a play written for Theatre Centre by Naomi Cortes. The company presented the production to audiences aged 4+ in 2012.
Have you ever met the Littlest Quirky?
She comes from a magical circus family,
She lives in the house at the top of the hill,
And locked in all day, her life has no thrill.
Watching her closely are Tree, Wind and Rain,
And they hear her ask again and again,
"Why can't I go outside?" and they know she's upset,
So, they take her on a journey she will never forget.
A vivid tale of magical discovery, fusing physical theatre, puppetry, clowning and playwriting.
