by David Holman
Age advice: 5-9
Peacemaker was a play commissioned and produced by Theatre Centre in 1982. The play was written by David Holman and toured to schools in Britain, to audiences aged 5 to 9.
In times past, the Blue people and the Red people lived in harmony, joined by a bridge to pass from one land to the other. One day a fight broke out between the two lands and the bridge was replaced by a wall. From then on, the Reds and the Blues have lived on either side of the wall in suspicion and mistrust of each other.
